Welcome to the show! Our purpose is to provide innovative educational programs that develop conscious, competent and caring coaches. We aim to create a standard of excellence in the coaching profession regardless of the sport, level or gender you coach, while providing a platform for coaches of ALL sports to connect, collaborate and support each other.

Celia Slater has been working with coaches of ALL sports since 2003 when she co-founded the NCAA Women Coaches Academy. Slater continued with her work with the Academy through the summer of 2014 until she founded True North Sports feeling called to bring men AND women coaches together of all sports! Since starting True North she has run The Assistant Coach Immersion Program and in 2017 launched Camp Elevate-For Coaches on the Rise!

She is fascinated with the coaching profession and the personal stories that both the athletes and coaches bring to their team experience. Celia has over 30 years of unmatched experience working with coaches of all sports. Many people have said, there is no one out there that has the level of passion close to hers when it comes to training, developing and supporting coaches. She is the ultimate “Coach’s Coach!” People immediately feel comfortable with ‘Mama C’ as Celia is known!
